Little Joys Photo Contest Winners 2008

We had an awesome time photographing the 0-24 month-old winners & the 2 1/2-6 year-old winners for the Little Joys & More Photo Contest 2008!!!  We ran around Okeeheelee Park and captured some beautiful photos by the lake.  The kiddies laughed, played, posed, smiled, and were serious.  Here are a couple of photographs from the shoots.  We have selected a variety of photos that we feel represent our style (a nice mixture of natural shots, smiley poses & very serious portraits).  I (Athena) look at every photo session as an opportunity to create art and look at your photos utilizing my knowledge of photography and take into consideration the lighting, color, composition, angle, background & expression.  It is my hope that you enjoy and appreciate these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them and editing them.  Please leave me your comments about the photos and/or your experience with the session.

I had so much fun working with this little nine-year-old girl.  She was so natural and was really working the camera for me.  Here are a few samples from her session.  

Sweet Seventeen Prom

Here are some photos that I took of a lovely teenage girl before her prom.  She really wasn't into taking natural photos & much rather preferred to be smiling, but I managed to capture her laughing and just being herself here.

Father Abrahams

 Check out some videos I made of my kiddies this past weekend.  We were just hanging out on the grass in the front yard and they decided to sing songs for me.  They are very cute :)

Red Socks - Little League Baseball

Thursday evenings and Saturdays mornings are usually spent rooting Zay and his Red Socks team on.  He loves participating in sports and we love being there.

We had lots of fun watching these kids play, they are  good to be only 5-6 years old.  I also captured daddy & the girls.

Walk For Life 2008

Please help me Celebrate Life and First Care’s 25th Anniversary of ministering to families and saving babies in Palm Beach County.
